Is there any upfront cost?
No. There is no upfront cost for your organization to get started. Funding For Your Cause handles the website setup, domain, hosting, and technical work.
Does our organization get its own website?
Yes. Each participating organization receives its own unique domain and custom fundraising shopping website. This helps keep your organization’s activity separate and easier to track.
How does our organization earn money?
Your organization receives 25% of the commission generated through your custom fundraising site. Commission is based on qualifying purchases that are approved, confirmed, and paid.
When do we get paid?
Organizations are paid monthly by ACH after confirmed revenue has been received. If a purchase is canceled, returned, declined, or not approved by the merchant, it may not be included in the payout calculation.
Do supporters pay extra?
No. The goal is for supporters to use your site to find useful deals and discounts. Your organization’s fundraising revenue comes from qualifying shopping activity generated through your site.
What does our organization have to do?
Your main responsibility is to share your unique website with your community. This can include emails, newsletters, bulletins, social media posts, printed flyers, school announcements, church communications, or parent/member reminders.
Do we have to sell products?
No. There are no products to sell, no inventory to store, no order forms to collect, and no door-to-door fundraising required.
Can we see the activity connected to our site?
Yes. You will receive transparent access to tracking and reporting so you can see the activity connected to your organization’s site.
Can supporters sign up for email updates?
Yes. Your custom site can include email capture so supporters can receive selected deal updates and featured offers connected to your organization’s fundraising site.
